Description
Traditional VWAP relies on a single session calculation, which can make its bands less responsive during changing market conditions.
VWAP Flux improves this by recalculating VWAP across smaller time segments, allowing value levels to adapt as the market evolves.
The indicator uses 2 parameters to build its structure:
- AnchorPeriodMinutes – the time window used to calculate each VWAP layer
- Amount – the number of recent VWAP layers used to form the value band
At the center is the Fair Value Plot, representing the market’s main balance point. Around it, VWAP Flux builds a 5-layer VWAP Cloud (Highest, Upper, Median, Lower, Lowest) that acts as a dynamic value-based support and resistance zone.
This structure helps you interpret the market through:
- Trend context, based on price interaction with the Fair Value Plot and VWAP Cloud
- Pullback opportunities, when price returns to the value zone during a trend
- Volume-weighted support and resistance, including key levels such as POC and intra-zone VWAP
By turning VWAP into a multi-layer value framework, VWAP Flux helps you understand where the market is accepting value and where meaningful reactions may occur.
